To create generational impacts by building cutting-edge skateparks for Chicago communities.
Logan Boulevard Skatepark
Concept Designs
Community Need
For over a decade, Logan Boulevard Skatepark has been utterly unkempt, choked by hazardous pigeon waste, and collapsing. Its dilapidated features are an indication of a thriving space treasured by the community. It is time to rebuild. But this time, sustainably.
Sustainability
Sustainability implies a cost-effective, one-time investment that needs no monthly or annual repairs and that is solution-based—represented in the form of a non-degenerative concrete facility.
The process of erecting new public spaces is a collaborative one; our team of community-led advocates has incorporated like-minded institutions, active and inactive within the skateboarding community, to support Logan Square by supporting its public spaces.
